I am Dr. Daniel J. Benny a professionally licensed, bonded and insured Private Investigator and Security Consultant, Limited Liability Company, and court-qualified expert witness in security matters. I provide criminal, legal, corporate and private investigations and armed protective service as well as security consulting and training covering security management, physical security, aviation security, maritime security, counterintelligence, counterterrorism and protective service. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice from Capella University, a Master of Arts in Security Administration from Vermont College of Norwich University, Bachelor of Arts in Security Administration from Alvernia College, Associate in Arts in both Commercial Security and Police Administration from Harrisburg Area Community College, Diploma in Naval Command and Staff from the United States Naval War College and I am currently working on a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. I am Board Certified in Security Management as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Board Certified Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) both by ASIS International, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and Certified Member (CM) and Airport Certified Employee-Security (ACE) by the American Association of Airport Executives. I have authored over 300 articles on security, intelligence, aviation and maritime security topics, The Private Investigators Professional Desk Reference and contributing author to the ASIS International Guidelines. I served as a United States Naval Intelligence Officer with duty at Office of Naval Intelligence, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Fleet Rapid Support Team and Central Intelligence Agency. I also served as a Federal Police Chief United States Navy, campus Public Safety Director/Police Chief, Corporate Security Director, Director of Protective Service Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission, Pennsylvania State Constable and Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission Deputy Waterways Conservation Officer. I am the Security Discipline Chair at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide, Visiting Professor with DeVry University, and instructor at the Shumaker Public Safety Center. I am a Pennsylvania State Police Act 235 Lethal Weapons Instructor/Agent, Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Dequincy Terrorism Awareness Instructor, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Basic Boating Instructor, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Safety Instructor and Vessel Examiner. I am also an American Red Cross Pet First Aid Instructor. I hold a Black Sash in Jeet Kune Do and I am a National Rifle Association of America Personal Protection in the Home, Home Firearms Safety, Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun instructor and Range Safety Officer. I hold an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council. I am a Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot and Safety Team Representative, a Cessna C-172 aircraft owner and Major with the United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol.
