Professor Chris Hertig of York College will shatter misconceptions and outline best practices for human behavior management. Don’t miss this one hour CPE credit course essential for any investigator, executive, manager or other business professional.
Course Description: "Violence is sudden and unexpected" but it must be managed in a professional manner. The RESPECT acronym provides some guidance for doing so. In this session, we will assess the risks of work-related violence, recognize the signs and symptoms of violence about to erupt and above all, manage human behavior in a manner that is respectful to all.
One hour of other specialized knowledge of continuing education credit is provided to all attendees.

Chris Hertig
Chris Hertig is a member of the Behavioral Sciences Department at York College of Pennsylvania where he teaches courses in security management and criminal investigation. Hertig is a Certified Protection Professional as well as a Certified Protection Officer Instructor. He serves on the IFPO Board of Directors and the ASIS International Academic Programs Council.
